AGK Legal is a modern law firm founded
by Adrian Andrychowski, Szymon Gołębiowski,
and Damian Kopera

Three lawyers with over a decade of experience in advising on dispute resolution and competition law. Their expertise was honed at leading Polish (JDP, SK&S) and international law firms (Baker McKenzie, Clifford Chance, Taylor Wessing), where they advised a broad range of global clients.

Being at the forefront of legal developments, based on our experience and our relationships with legal funders we have decided to establish a law firm dedicated to pursing claimants’ interests in private enforcement of antitrust claims.

Practice Areas

antitrust litigation & private enforcement

Our team handles competition disputes, focusing on claims for damages caused by breaches of competition law. We bring distinctive expertise in managing complex economic evidence and work closely with respected international economic consultancies. Clients benefit from access to litigation finance through our established relationships with litigation funders.

litigation & arbitration

We act on a broad spectrum of matters involving high-value commercial and corporate dispute resolution. Most of the disputes that we handle have an international element to them. We have particular expertise in collective redress, financial services litigation, and civil fraud. Our team also has experience in alternative dispute resolution, particularly arbitration, including challenges to awards and their enforcement.

antiturst & merger control

Clients rely on us in antitrust investigations, judicial reviews, and merger control proceedings before national authorities and the European Commission. We also advise on competition law matters across business operations, including distribution and franchising arrangements.

consumer protection

We provide legal support in consumer law across all sectors, with particular focus on banking and finance, e-commerce, and automotive. Our lawyers represent clients before consumer protection authorities and courts. Recent regulatory developments — such as the European Green Deal, Omnibus Directive, Digital Services Act, and European Accessibility Act — form a core part of our advisory work.

state aid & trade

Public funding plays an increasingly important role in business. We help clients assess whether state aid schemes and programmes comply with European Union law. Where businesses receive support from non-EU governments, we offer guidance on the EU Foreign Subsidies Regulation and international trade law.

contentious insolvency

We act in insolvency proceedings, most often in cross-border settings, representing and advising both insolvent companies and their counterparties, including lenders, shareholders, investors, and directors. Our practice focuses on complex insolvencies and restructurings at all stages of the process. In particular, we assist our clients in commencing appropriate proceedings, enforcing their security interests, and submitting their claims.

corporate and commercial

Our team provides advice to both foreign and domestic companies and investors on a broad range of issues involving, i.a., joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and corporate governance. We represent companies at all stages of their development, from startups to publicly listed entities. We advise our clients on the legal aspects of a wide range of commercial contracts. In particular, we have provided advisory services in relation to general contract law, product liability, and consumer protection.
